My name is Efstathia Pavlakou, I was born in 19/02/1990 and I come from Filiatra Messinias.
I am a Chemical Engineer graduated from Chemical Engineering Department of University of
Patras in 2013. I have completed my MSc in the field of “Energy and Environment” at the same
Department in 2016 and Christakis Paraskeva was my professor. I am a PhD student at the
same Department. I have good knowledge of English, French and application systems. During
my research studies I have managed to develop my personal and technical skills, along with
the scientific ones. They are related to communication, teamwork, organization, problem
solving and time managing. I have a publication in international scientific journal (1),
participationsin research projects (4), international (2) and national scientific conferences (3),
workshops (3) and seminars (1).

Mr. Dionysios Vroulias earned his bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Hons (Grade: Excellent) at the University of Patras in July 2013. After serving in the Hellenic Air Force as a quality control chemist, he obtained his master’s degree in Catalysis at the same university in November 2016. Apart from lab demonstrator and graduate teaching assistant, he worked as a research fellow in a project which was about adding value to the main biodiesel by–product, glycerol, by steam reforming. He is currently pursuing a PhD at FORTH/ICE-HT on ionic liquid and polymeric membrane materials for the process of CO2 capture under the supervision of Research Director Dr. T. Ioannides.

He received the financial support of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation within the framework of the project ARCHERS and he is now participating in the project “Bioconversion of lignite power plant emissions to fuels and fine chemicals (ΒΙΟΜΕΚ)” implemented under the “EPAnEK 2014-2020 Operational Programme”.
