Mr George Gassias is a PhD candidate at the department of History an Archeology of University of Crete. He received his Bachelor Degree from the University of Athens in 2000 and his Master Degree from the University of Crete in Contemporary Greek and European History. Ms. Evangelia Vasilaki is a Ph.D candidate at the Chemistry Department of the University of Crete. She received her Bachelor degree from the University of Piraeus in 2010 and her Master degree in Chemistry from the University of Crete. She studies the synthesis and modification of metal oxides for photocatalytic applications. She has published 5 articles in international peer-reviewed journals with 57 citations.


Ms. Meropi Manataki is a 4th year Ph.D candidate at Technical University of Crete. She received her Diploma degree in 2011 and her Master degree from the Technical University of Crete in Geotechnology and the Environment, Dept. of Mineral Resources Engineering. Her research focuses on applied geophysics, GPR data processing and modelling and archaeological prospection.


Mr. Dimitrios Oikonomou is a 1st  year  Ph.D candidate at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He received his Bachelor degree in Geology from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 2008 and his Master degree from the same University in Applied Geophysicsr  . His research focuses on developing novel algorithms for joint inversion of electrical resistivity and seismic geophysical data derived from environmental and archaeological applications.


Mrs Maria Cristina Manzetti is a 3rd year Ph.D candidate at Technical University of Crete, in Digital Media and Cultural Heritage. She received her Bachelor degree from the University of Rome Tor Vergata in Cultural Heritage in 2007 and his Master degree from the University of Rome Tor Vergata in archaeology in 2010. In 2011 she attended the 2nd level master in Geotechnology for Archaeology at University of Siena. Her research focuses on Roman theatres, Virtual Acoustics Analysis, 3D Visibility Analysis, 3D reconstructions and virtual archaeology application.


Mr. Ioannis Paradisanos is a 3rd year Ph.D. candidate at Physics Department of University of Crete (UoC) and performs his research activities at the Foundation for Research and Technology—Hellas (FORTH). He received his B.Sc. degree from the Materials Science and Technology Department of the UoC in 2012 and his M.Sc. degree from Physics Department of the UoC in 2014. His research interests include ultrafast laser synthesis and spectroscopy of 2D materials, multifunctional responsive hierarchically structured surfaces and novel ultrafast laser micro/nano processing techniques.


Mrs. Evangelia Gavgiotaki is a 3rd year Ph.D candidate at Medical Department of University of Crete. She received her Bachelor degree from the Physics Department of University of Crete in (2011) and her Master degree from the Physics Department of University of Crete in Optoelectronics – Microelectronics (2014).  Her research focuses on the application of various spectroscopic techniques with emphasis on advanced microscopic modalities in biomedicine.
