Dr. Eugene Skouras is a Post-Doctoral research fellow at FORTH/ICE-HT. He received his Ph.D degree from the University of Patras in 2000 and he continued as a Post-Doctoral fellow at FORTH/ICE-HT. His research focuses on simulation and optimization studies of fluid flow, heat and mass transfer, and sorption phenomena in porous media across atomistic, mesoscopic and macroscopic scales.

Dr. Nikolaos Koromilas is a Post-Doctoral research fellow at University of Patras and Foundation for Research and Technology/Institute of Chemical Engineering Sciences (FORTH/ICE-HT). He received his Ph.D degree from the University of Patras in 2016 and he continued as a Post-Doctoral fellow at FORTH/ICE-HT. His research focuses on the synthesis of random, block and grafted/crosslinked copolymers containing groups with bacteriostatic activity via techniques like free radical polymerization (FRP), atom transfer radical polymerization (ATRP) and synthetic procedures such as reactive blending. Currently, he is working on the development of polymeric membranes for water purification.

Dr. Maria Daletou is a Post-Doctoral research fellow at ICEHT/FORTH. She received her Ph.D degree from the University of Patras in 2007 and she continued as a Post-Doctoral fellow at NEU in Boston, University of Patras and ICEHT. Her research focuses on polymeric and hybrid materials, electrocatalysis and liquid and solid state electrochemistry in the field of fuel cells for the development of new materials and integrated systems.

Dr. Christos Τ. Chasapis received his PhD in Chemistry in 2005 from University of Ioannina and Center of Magnetic Resonance (CERM) at University of Florence (Italy) (Marie Curie fellow). He did his early postdoctoral research in CERM from 2005 to 2006 and then he joined the Department of Pharmacy at the University of Patras  from 2008 to 2015. From 2015, he is a senior researcher fellow in the Metabolic Engineering and Systems Biology Lab (MESBL) in FORTH/ICE-HT. His main research activities are in the field of Structural Systems Biology, focusing both on the structure-function relationship of individual proteins/enzymes (NMR protein structure and dynamics) and how they interact to modulate the behavior of biological systems (modeling of protein-protein interactions, expansion of the content and predictive capability of PPI networks based on structural information).

Dr. Antonopoulou Georgia is a Post-Doctoral research fellow at FORTH/ICE-HT. She received her Ph.D degree from the University of Patras, Department of Chemical Engineering in 2006 and she continued as a Post-Doctoral fellow at University of Patras until 2011 and afterwards at FORTH/ICE-HT. Her research focuses on biofuels production via anaerobic digestion as well as via different types of fermentations (for H2 and ethanol production), MFC technology, pre-treatment of lignocellulosic biomass and modeling of microbial processes.

Dr. Konstantinos S. Andrikopoulos is a Post-Doctoral research fellow at FORTH/ICEHT. He received his Ph.D degree from the University of Patras (Dpt. Chem. Eng.)  in 2001 and he continued as a researcher in “Ormylia” Art Diagnosis Center and as a Post-Doctoral fellow at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and FORTH/ICEHT. His research focuses on Chemical Physics and Applied Spectroscopy.

Dr. Spyros Tzokas is a Post-Doctoral research fellow at the Institute for Mediterranean Studies/FORTH for the Project ARCHERS: Advancing Young Researchers’ Human Capital in Cutting Edge Technologies in the Preservation of Cultural Heritage and the Tackling of Societal Challenges, is funded by Stavros Niarchos Foundation. The research addresses the Policies of Protection of Industrial Property in Greece during the 20th century. He received his Ph.D degree in History and Philosophy of Science and Technology, from the Department of History and Philosophy of Science, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and Department of Humanities Social Sciences & Law, School of Applied Mathematical & Physical Sciences, National Technical University of Athens in 2011 and his dissertation is entitled On the social construction of the technical objectivity: The formative period of Greek engineering, late 19th – early 20th century. His research lies in the fields of History and Sociology of Science & Technology (HSST), Science-Technology-Society/Studies (STS) connecting with the following subject areas: Engineering Studies, Expertise Studies, Material Culture Studies, Economic and Social History, Labour History, History of Industrialization & Innovation, Borders-Migration-Technology Studies, Digital Humanities, Industrial Archaeology, Environmental Studies and Critical Studies of Science & Technology. In his work, the comparative and cross – (trans)national historical and historiographical aspects of Science & Technology are linked with the Economic, Social and Cultural issues, cutting across the Greek, Mediterranean and the European regional characteristics and particularities (19th–20th centuries).
