Dr. Nikolaos Rekatsinas is a Post-Doctoral research fellow at the Institute of Applied & Computational Mathematics (IACM), FORTH. He received his Ph.D degree in 2018 from the University of Amsterdam. His research interests lie in the advances of adaptivity for the efficient numerical approximation of the solution of partial differential equations, with current activity focusing on the adaptive wavelet methods that converge with the best possible rate in optimal computational complexity.
