Effrosyni Doutsi received her diploma in Computer Science and Biomedical Informatics ( http://www.dib.uth.gr/?q=en) from University of Thessaly ( http://www.uth.gr/en/index.php), Lamia, Greece (2012). The same year she moved to France for master studies with scholarships from the Campus France. She received a M.Sc. degree in Computational Biology and Biomedicine from Université de Nice-Sophia Antipolis ( http://unice.fr/en), Nice, France (2013) and a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Université Côte d’Azur ( http://univ-cotedazur.fr/en#.W6ivDS-B1QI), Nice, France (2017). Currently, she is a postdoctoral fellow at Signal Processing Lab (SPL) ( http://spl.edu.gr) of Institute of Computer Science (ICS) ( https://www.ics.forth.gr), Foundation of Research and Technology Hellas (FORTH) ( https://www.forth.gr) with scholarships from Stavros Niarchos Foundation. Her research interests are image processing, image and video compression, semantic compression, compressive sampling, applied neuroscience amd bio-inspired systems.
